DummyWar FAQ
Answers to common DummyWar questions about browser loading, mobile play, fullscreen, game type, and the sandbox’s early development status.
QUESTIONS BEFORE
YOU DEPLOY.
Quick answers about playing this browser build and understanding what the sandbox offers.
Can I play DummyWar in a browser?
Yes. The Play page loads the Unity WebGL build of the game in a frame. If the embed does not start in your browser, open the game directly from the link on that page.
Does DummyWar work on a phone?
The developer has stated there will be no mobile version of the game, and the current build expects a keyboard and mouse. The site itself fits a phone screen, so you can still watch a battle, but you should plan to play on a desktop.
Why is the game taking time to load?
The WebGL build downloads its engine and assets before the first frame appears. Keep the tab open, wait for the loading bar to finish, and use Reload if the frame stalls. A desktop browser with hardware acceleration gives the smoothest result.
What do I do in DummyWar?
Spawn soldiers on two opposing teams, build the encounter you want, and then either watch the AI fight it out or take control of a soldier and join in. There is no required mission sequence — the sandbox is the point.
Is DummyWar a finished game?
No. DummyWar is an early alpha prototype. The developer ships regular updates that add maps, soldier classes, vehicles and weapons, so the build on this site can change from one version to the next.
How do I find the controls?
The order wheel (Q), the medical hotkeys (4, 5, 6), the RPG (3 and R), resupply (E), dragging casualties (H) and the FPV drone feed (X) are listed in the DummyWar guides. Movement, aiming and firing follow the on-screen prompts and the in-game Settings menu for the current build.
Where did the game come from?
DummyWar is an experimental military sandbox by the developer GuFugu. This site is an unofficial browser guide and play hub for it — the game itself is not ours, and all design credit goes to its creator.
